An Orange Beauty

Here is one of our new designs for fall/winter 2007. It is called Bridgette and is an invitation printed on ivory woven cardstock wrapped with a beautiful orange flocked paper. Get more information at: occasions and celebrations.

Hats by Ellen Christine

Again, I am not one who would wear a hat with my wedding dress. But if hats are for you, Ellen Christine has some good choices. She hand-constructs all of her hats to ensure that each has a unique appeal. She mixes antique textiles and trims to bring vintage to the modern woman. See her entire handmade collection on her web site. Here are few of her designs:

Beautiful Ornaments from Africa

I want these Bamboula angels from Red Envelope under my tree. These beautiful ornaments were made by the hands of Kenyan artisans. For me, handmade is always the best. So much love and care goes into handmade. Support indie designers. Get yours at Red Envelope.

The Queen of Spades - Kate Spade

I love Kate Spade. I love her style and her charm. Every time that I have seen her in an interview, I am amazed at her grace and elegance. That is always reflected in the itmes that bear her name. Always well chosen, proper, and elegant. Her shoes are my favorite items in her collection. Here are a few of my favorites (bridal and non-bridal). Take your pick. See more on her web site.

Fabulous Dresses from Matilde Cano

These are lovely finds from the Tango collection of design team Matilde Cano. See their entire collection on their web site.

Needlepoint Tote? NAH!

I thought that this was too funny when I saw the title. Gump's actually calls this a needlepoint tote. Ain't no needlepoint going in that bag! This is for styling with my girls. It would make a lovely maid of honor gift. Available at Gump's San Francisco.

Dahlia Candle Holders - Gump's

These are so pretty and would make a lovely statement to an all-white table setting. Pick some up at Gump's San Francisco.

Love Birds Cake Toppers

These are just too cute! There is only one. Get it at Rain's End:

The Modern Short Wedding Dress

This is the perfect short wedding dress for the adventurous bride. Love it! Designed by A.B.S. Available at Bluefly.

A Modern Design from Niwaka

Something different from David's Bridal

I am not a big fan of David's Bridal because I feel like their stuff is so cookie cutter. But here are two lovely dresses that do not fit that mold. See the entire collection on their web site.

House of Delphine

I am always looking for bridal designers that try not to look like everyone else. Here is another good example - House of Delphine. I especially love the aqua dress! See more on their web site.

Autograph Occasions - Marks and Spencer

When I was in London a few years ago, I could have spent the entire day in Marks & Spencer. The only thing that kept me from going broke was the outrageous exchange rate of the dollar (2 dollars = 1 pound). My husband was happy though :-(

This is a lovely inexpensive outfit (even with the exchange rate) from their Autograph Occasions line. Altogether it would set you back around $600 for entire outfit. They do not deliver overseas yet but you can call your british friends and relatives and get them to do your bidding. You can see this outfit on their web site.
