The Angler’s Boutique Resort is the quintessential destination for honeymooners looking for a mixture of play and privacy; nestled away on Washington Ave this Mediterranean hideaway offers voyeuristic views of South Beach from your own villa-esque retreat. Cloaked in ivy with lush outdoor gardens and a lobby that looks more like a living room, this casually chic establishment is reminiscent of a friends European vacation home. More than just another pretty façade,

The Angler’s boasts personalized service so stellar they take in hand-penned thank you notes by the dozen. Each guest receives a mini-consultation before check-in to ensure all their hopes and desires are fulfilled during their stay. The admired property also offers a locally renowned restaurant, 660 at The Angler’s. Prices range from $4 to $29. A new beer list also débuted as well as an Artisanal cocktail menu with nostalgic drinks. 660 at the Angler’s currently enjoys its rating of #13 restaurants out of 404 in South Florida on TripAdvisor with the hotel in the top three spot consistently. Where I Want To Be: The Point, Saranac NY

Yahoo.com had a featured post today about the hotels with the best views. One of the hotels was the lush resort, The Point in Saranac, NY. What an amazing place to have a wedding or visit on your honeymoon. Is this an amazing view or what? It's called a resort for a reason. It costs a fortune. But this view may be worth it all. It's Gotta Be Barcelona: Hotel Arts Barcelona

My three favorite cities in the whole wide world are New Orleans, Montreal,Canada and the one and only Barcelona, Spain (not in any order). I could seriously see myself living in Barcelona. I love the people and their laid back attitude. I remember the hotel clerk telling us, on a Wednesday afternoon, that he was going to the beach after work. We were like, "the beach??? Who goes to the beach on a Wednesday?" The Catalan do!

So the next time (which I hope will be soon) that I go to Barcelona, I want to stay here - at the Hotel Arts Barcelona. The decor, the spa, and the view are all breathtaking. But of course it would be, it's a part of the Ritz-Carlton line of hotels. Which is right up my alley because I am a terrible hotel snob. So if you are going to Barcelona for your honeymoon, see more and make reservations here.
