Lebonese designer Georges Chakra was initially drawn to interior design. After two years of studies, he realized that his true love and passion was in fashion. So he went off to Canada to pursue a fashion degree at the Canadian Fashion Academy. His aesthetic is one that is consumed by color and whimsy and flow and drama. His gowns command attention. He has been presenting two collections at Paris Fashion Week since 2002. Here are my favorite dresses from his Spring/Summer 2009 Bridal collection.
