The Bridal Wishlist is a wedding blog for the modern bride. We are the ultimate wedding guide for the modern bride. We provide daily wedding inspiration to help you to plan the perfect wedding day.
I have been scouring the internet to find some of the most beautiful wedding receptions. The decor, lighting, and food make all the difference at your wedding reception. I love when event designers work hard to take things to the next level. Here are some of my favorites:
White Lilac, Inc. (www.whitelilacinc.com)
Mcnabb Roick Events - Toronto (www.mcnabbroickevents.com)
I love the shoes at Shelley George. Their styles are so unique and different. If you are like me, a total shoe addict, you can really appreciate these wonderful choices. Don't think that because your dress is long, folks won't see your shoes. You are so wrong, so choose wisely. Here are my favorites (I especially love the second pair because of the baby blue color):
I love Shelley George's shoes and accessories. Here is the latest addition to the Shelley George collection: The Wedding Bag. You can fit quite a bit of stuff in there and still be extremely stylish and chic. You can get yours on their web site at: Shelley George
I was looking around for flower girl dresses and I stumbled upon the cutest thing: Wings. I love these. I wish that I would have found these wings before my wedding. What a cute accessory for your flower girl dresses. You can find wings at: Fox N' Lily.
It is very hard to find flower girl dresses that are unique and different. To me, they all look very similar. The range of colors is also limited for most styles. So there is little opportunity to find something that your little flower girl can wear to get the gasping of the breath effect. You gotta love J. Crew. Not only have they created a line of wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses, but they also have a few really darling flower girl dresses. You can find more information on their web site at: J. Crew.
I am loving these shell bowls and sprig vases from Gumps's in San Francisco. What a different look it will give your table. Simply amazing. You can visit their web site at: Gumps
It is so hard to find the right venue for your ceremony and reception. But it is one of the most critical factors to the success of your wedding. It sets the tone for your event. Two web sites offer you a little help with narrowing down your choice. Enter Unique Venues (www.uniquevenues.com) and Beverly Clark's Wedding Locations (www.weddinglocation.com). Both sites allow you to search by state, have great pictures, and a wealth of information about each site. If you are just starting your search, I would suggest that you start there.
I know that there are some brides out their that do not want the poufy dress. They are looking for something just a little different. Here are some ideas for the non-poufy brides. All from Neiman Marcus
While I was at the Bridal Show on Sunday, I had a sugar attack. I saw a few other vendors eating cake and I wanted some. Amphora Bakery was near my booth. So I went over to grab a sample and let me tell you, that was some dang good cake! It was so moist that it melted in my mouth. I went back for more later in the day. I will be using Amphora Bakery for my baking wants and needs from now on. You can get more information about them on their web site at: Amphora Bakery. Here are a few of their beautiful cakes:
I think that the ring bearer pillow is a little detail that is sometimes overlooked in weddings. I really searched everywhere for the perfect pillow with just the right shade of red (I was so not crazy!). I did find it but I had to search. Here are some ring pillows that for me stand out from the rest. Grace For Weddings has pillow designs that are absolutely beautiful and elegant. You can view the entire collection on their site at Grace For Weddings. Here are a few of my favorites:
