Who is J. Mendel?

J. Mendel is the design house of the Mendel Family. The Mendel family is infamous for their furs. It is currently run by Gilles Mendel. He launched his first ready-to-wear collection in 2003 and a star was born. His Spring/Summer '08 collection is stunning. Here are my favorites... well the red one is really my favorite:

Absolute beauty from Milan. These gorgeous dresses are by Mina Lee for Derercuny. These designs are the ultimate in sensuality and femininity. I could not just pick a few. Lil' Lanterns from Paper Source

I love these candle lanterns from Paper Source. The lanterns measure 11" high and are used with a votive in a container for $14.00 a pop. I really love the orange one.
