BEAUTIFUL WEDDING DRESSES: DECOUPAGE BY CLAIRE PETTIBONE

DECOUPAGE BY CLAIRE PETTIBONE SPRING/SUMMER 2014

Decoupage is french and refers to the age old art of cutting and layering paper cutouts for the purpose of decorating wooden boxes, chests, and other objects. This beautiful collection by Claire Pettibone is just that. It's a layering of chantilly lace and guipure, silks and vintage laces, flowers and other exquisite handmade details. What I loved the most was that the back of the dresses were just as heavenly as the front. Photographs by Anton Oparin.

This is her S/S 2014 collection and will be available in salons in the next few months. So if you are early in your wedding planning, you have time.

Pulling It All Together: My Wedding Workbook

I took My Wedding Workbook for a test drive this weekend to see if it was a tool that make ion. your wedding planning easier. I must say that I really liked it. They pretty much thought about everything. All of the sections are easily integrated. I really loved the guest list section. It was very easy to enter guest list information and keep track of everything. All of the sections were very robust. The only issue that I had with it was that you couldn't enter a total that you could subtract everything from but it did let you add all of your expenses together for a grand total. So that will probably work to. You can register and see for yourself here.
