WEDDING DRESSES: PROJECT RUNWAY ALUM RAMI KASHOU & BEBE

Project Runway Alumnus, Rami Kashou is releasing a line of wedding dresses for Bebe. It doesn't surprise me at all to see him venture from special occasion gowns into bridal. The gowns will not be available on Bebe's web site until after March 20th. This gown is my favorite one in the collection. View what's coming at Bebe.com.

BRIDAL MARKET: Carol Hannah Whitfield Launches Bridal Collection

Project Runway Finalist and fan favorite Carol Hannah Whitfield launched her new Bridal Collection on April 12, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at luxury wedding destination Michael C. Fina. The collection includes 14 wedding gowns and 9 bridesmaid dresses in styles ranging from sassy to whimsical to sophisticated. Both professional models and real brides showcased the dresses and completed their look with Carol Hannah’s favorite jewelry pieces from Tacori’s 18k925 collection available at Michael C. Fina.

Carol Hannah shared insight and experiences with nearly 100 brides-to-be and answered questions from fashion-forward guests as part of a live Q&A session. She also selected the winner of the $10,000 bridal package giveaway, which included a gown of the winner’s choice from Carol Hannah’s new collection, his & her platinum wedding bands from Michael C. Fina, and Tacori 18k925 jewels. Winner Antonette Poli accepted congratulations from Carol Hannah and fellow guests and remarked she was “very excited and very overwhelmed.”

Friends and fellow season 6 castmates Logan Neitzel and Rodney Epperson were also in attendance.

To end the evening, Carol Hannah proposed a toast to all involved in making the event such an enjoyable and memorable experience. Looking at her guests she said, “I design with all of you in mind. Through fashion I am able to be a part of one of the most significant milestones in a woman’s life, and that’s what I love about what I do.”

More Fierceness: Christian Siriano

I am still buzzing about Christian Siriano winning Project Runway. I was so upset last year when Jeffrey won. He was a piece of work. But Christian was so deserving. This was my favorite piece from his collection. I would work this dress to death!! Move over VB!
