As luck would have it, I was very sick the day of their runway show and was unable to attend. I was not a happy camper. But bridal lovelies, you do not have to suffer for my misfortune. Enjoy the Spring 2011 runway shows of Henry and Michelle Roth.

Kate Middleton Has The Ring! Now What Should She Wear?

I was over the moon when I heard that Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton. Finally! What has he been waiting for? Everyone knew it was coming. The way that he looks at her is magical. Love is once again all abound in the Royal Family.

So now that she has the beautiful engagement ring worn by Prince William's late mother Princess Diana, what should she wear? As royal weddings go, it will be very hard for her to wear something modern like a strapless gown or a one-shoulder gown. She is more than likely going to wear something very modest and very conservative. So checking through some of the current and upcoming wedding dress collections, I wanted to see what options she can look forward to discovering.

It was not easy! So many wedding dress designers have opted to create collections upon collections of strapless dresses. It was strapless dress overkill. But I did manage to find a few wedding dresses that are a little more reserved, including fellow Brits Ian Stuart and Jenny Packham. Oddly enough, the last dress by Ian Stuart was my favorite dress for her. What do you think?

I love shoes. I really love shoes. I really love it when a brand gets bridal shoes right because so many companies are focused on the dress. As a shoe feign, I feel like more emphasis should be focused on your beautiful wedding shoes. Wedding shoes add that special little pop to your outfit.

I was at a function during Bridal Market and I stopped these two very lovely ladies to warn them that I would be stalking them throughout the night for their gorgeous shoes. I knew these shoes felt familiar to me. Of course, they were reps for Aruna Seth. I almost lost it when they told me. I posted about them in several posts including this one, It's The Shoes: Aruna Seth.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop by their booth at the Pier but they let me know that what they had new in bridal shoes. Here you go! You have to just love them. You should be able to find your perfect pair of wedding shoes with Aruna Seth.

BRIDAL EVENT: The Wedding Salon Invites You To Meet Colin Cowie and Sylvia Weinstock

Thursday, November 11, 2010

Here's part deux of the Priscilla of Boston Bridal Market 2010. Of course, POB had a fab collection of bridesmaids dresses. I loved the beautiful turquoise dresses especially. Reverie by Melissa Sweet was very playful and fun. For the bride that doesn't take herself too seriously. But Platinum is for the brides that do take themselves very seriously and are looking for that dress... you know "THAT DRESS" that will turn heads and leave mouths ajar. The first dress below in the Platinum collection was my absolute favorite dress of the entire evening. Stunning and spectacular.
